Application for leave (student)
Students may apply for leave from school. If the leave request is for three or more days, the school requires two weeks’ notice. If the leave is for up to two days, two days’ notice is needed.
Conditions:
- The student must catch up on any work missed as quickly as possible.
- The student must inform and remind teachers well in advance.
- Internal assessment grades may be forfeited for assessments held during this time.
NOTE: For applications for leave to attend sports, cultural or arts events, the student will need to send a supporting letter from the event organiser to the student’s dean to provide with the leave application.
