AWARDS CEREMONIES

Each year, we recognise and celebrate the service and achievements of our students in many ways, including at our end-of-year awards events:

  • Arts, Service and Te Ao Māori Blues Awards
  • Sports Blues Awards
  • Senior Awards ceremony
  • Junior Awards ceremony (Years 9 and 10)
  • Junior Awards ceremony (Years 7 and 8)

We encourage our students to make the most of all aspects of college life so they can grow and be proud of who they are, and the engagement of our students is reflected in the scope of service and achievement recognised at these events.

Senior Awards ceremony 2024

Our 2024 Senior Awards ceremony was held on 30 October this year and included performances from the college leavers’ band, the classical group, the jazz combo, the college choir, Angelo Dale performing ‘Crazy’ by Gnarls Barkley, an original song ‘Shapes’ performed by Bryne Bloxham, Otis Murphy and Calum Martineau, and a haka pōwhiri performed by Te Mākahi o Tititea (MAC’s kapa haka group).

We are also immensely grateful to the organisations and individuals who generously sponsor awards and scholarships for our students.
