The Mount Aspiring College Students in the Community Programme is the only programme of its type in the country.
Since 1995, a total of over 50,000 hours of voluntary community time has been contributed by MAC students.

All year 13 students use their time and skills to make a difference in their community.
Students undertake weekly placements and short-term projects in a variety of areas. Some of these are listed here:
Helping at preschools and primaries, visiting the elderly, mentoring other students, buddying with students with special needs
Volunteering at the library, with theatre costumes, at local events, with fundraising
Coaching sports – athletics, swimming, netball, hockey, biking, rubgy, soccer, adaptive skiing and more
Planting and conservation projects
Teaching technology to seniors
