The General English programme is for students of any age who wish to study English as a Second Language. The course is designed to teach effective communication in a variety of situations, focussing on spoken English, the development of vocabulary and the development of listening, reading and writing skills.
Classes are offered for up to four hours each day, normally between 9.00am and 2.00pm, but times can be varied to suit the individual student or groups. All of our tutors are qualified ESL teachers, and classes are kept small to allow for friendly and individual attention. Classes generally run throughout the year (excluding New Zealand public holidays) and students may join the class for as little as one week. Students may enrol for up to 12 weeks without requiring a student visa to enter New Zealand.
Classes can be organised at other times, including evenings, to suit the needs of small groups. We can also organise a range of activities for your group whilst you are in Wanaka, and combine these with English tuition.Click here for Enrolments Click here for ILC Home
